THE Bureau of Customs-Manila International Container Port (BoC-NICP) has seized 100 containers loaded with 50,000 bags of rice from Thailand worth at least P125 million for lack of importation permit.
MICP Collector Vener Baquiran said he issued a warrant of seizure and detention on the cargo for lack of the required permit from the National Food Authority (NFA).
