A baggage loader, working for more than three years at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), was caught stealing valuable items from the luggage of an Etihad Airways passenger on Tuesday. Aviation Operations and Managements Inc. (Avomsi) said Roger Daniel was arrested with four rings, four earrings, two necklaces and a wristwatch he allegedly took while at the area where luggage are loaded on a conveyor belt leading to NAIA Terminal 1’s baggage carousel. Avomsi security specialist Meresa Porgadas confronted Daniel when she noticed that he was hiding something in his hand. Daniel has been under surveillance for several months.
