In its pursuit of providing relevant courses through continuing education program to various tourism stakeholders in the Philippines, the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism will be offering a program entitled “Designing and Developing Sustainable Tourism” from May 23 to 27 at the Asian Institute of Management.

With the aim to increase the private sectors’ and LGU’s overall capacity to implement sustainable tourism development plans within their scope, topics include tourism economics, the nature of costs, risks and budgeting, stakeholder management, marketing, and business development. Courses on ecotourism and sustainable tourism development discuss ways in which tourism can meet social and environmental goals in a Philippine setting.
