A series of light earthquakes has been recorded from Mount Pinatubo since last week, prompting the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) to issue on Wednesday a reminder, especially to the affected communities, "to be always prepared".
In its advisory, Phivolcs said the Pinatubo Volcano Network and the Philippine Seismic Network have detected a total of 826 imperceptible or slight earthquakes since Jan. 20, 2021.
