SG Plans for next 100 years
On August 18, Singapore announced that it is taking climate change triggered by global warming as a threat to the country’s existence. It plans to spend $72 billion (P3.7 Trillion) over the next 100 years to tackle the threat posed by the challenge of rising sea levels and extreme weather, by planning decades ahead and investing in research and development (R&D).
