PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde relieved two officials involved in the misencounter between soldiers and policemen that resulted in six deaths.
In an TV interview on Wednesday, Albayalde said that he ordered Chief Supt. Mariel Magaway of the Eastern Visayas Police Regional Office to temporarily relieve Supt. Glen Oliver Cinco, the group director of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8, and Chief Insp. Don Archie Suspeñe, commanding officer of the 805th Coy Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
