19 priority bills on Senate agenda

APART from the passage of the Bangsamoro Organic Law, which is expected to be signed by President Rodrigo Duterte before he delivers his third State of the Nation Address (SONA), the Senate will also be working on the passage of several priority measures during the third regular session of the 17th Congress that will commence on July 23.

The chamber, under the leadership of Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd, has at least 19 bills on its priority legislative agenda, including Charter change and the 2019 national budget.
