TEN members of the Aegis Juris fraternity accused in the death of a freshman law student of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) pleaded not guilty during their arraignment and pre-trial and petitioned for bail before a Manila court on Tuesday.
Arvin Balag, Ralph Trangia, Oliver John Audrey Onofre, Mhin Wei Chan, Danielle Hans Matthew Rodrigo, Joshua Joriel Macabali, Axel Munro Hipe, Marcelino Bagtang, Jose Miguel Salamat, and Robin Ramos denied the charges filed by the family of Horacio “Atio” Castillo 3rd who died during the fraternity’s initiation rites in 2017.
